Flow Fest blends yoga practice, wellness, workshops, vendors and live music into a one-day festival attracting 10,000 visitors to the Whitewater Center each year. 50+ classes are offered welcoming yogis of all skill levels who want to deepen their practice and connect in nature. Plan your visit:
Flow Fest is an annual festival hosted by the Whitewater Center in Charlotte, North Carolina located at 5000 Whitewater Center Parkway. Learn more about Whitewater.
Tickets & Add Ons
Flow Fest is free to attend, however, all participants must register online. There is no fee to register for the festival, but some classes (like SUP Yoga) do require a registration fee. Flow Fest t-shirts can be added on to your registration for $25, plus tax.
- The Whitewater Center does have a standard daily parking fee:
- $12 per day for cars and motorcycles
- $25 per day for vans, RVs and buses
Whitewater Center activities, including rafting, ziplining, ropes courses, flatwater kayak and SUP will also be accessible all weekend with the purchase of an Activity Pass.
Parking & Arrival
Flow Fest is a one-day festival that attracts 10,000 visitors. Parking lots will be congested during peak hours and can be up to a half mile walk from the main facility. Arrive early and explore the Whitewater Center’s 1,300 acre campus before class begins. Stay late for live music and another round of beers while the sun sets on a full day flow.
- Whitewater welcomes the use of Uber, Lyft and other ride-sharing services. There is a designated free ride-sharing drop-off and pick-up point on Whitewater Center Parkway which involves a half-mile walk to, and from, the main facility. If you would like to dropped off at the main facility, standard parking fees ($12 per vehicle) will apply.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department controls traffic on all public roads. CMPD can exercise the right to reroute or even temporarily close access at their discretion in order to alleviate extreme traffic congestion in the surrounding areas.
Nourish & Hydrate
The Whitewater Center does not permit any outside food or beverage anywhere on the 1,300 acre property, including parking lots. Participants and guests can bring a water bottle.
A variety of food and beverage options are available at the Whitewater Center. Grab a cold beverage at the Pump House Biergarten, enjoy a quick bite from the Trail Center or The Market, or sit down for a meal at River’s Edge overlooking the Whitewater channel.
- Pop up food stalls and bars will be available across the center during peak hours.
- The Market, Trail Center, River Center and Outfitters offer snacks such as trail mix, energy bars and chips for a quick energy boost throughout the day.

Are yoga mats provided?
No, yoga mats will not be provided. It is recommended for participants to bring their own mat.
How long does each class last?
Unless otherwise specified on the class page, each class will last one hour.
What skill level is required for Flow Fest?
Flow Fest offers classes for yogis of all skill levels.
Is this a family-friendly event?
Family-friendly yoga classes are offered during Flow Fest, including Kids’ Yoga at Wildwoods. The vendor village and live music are also great activities for guests of all ages.
What happens in the event of rain?
Flow Fest will take place, rain or shine. Certain aspects of the festival may be adjusted to account for the weather conditions. The Flow Fest website and Whitewater Center social media channels will be updated to reflect any changes.
